Vacuum Casting

If you need a small quantity of plastic pieces with the high accurate of polyurethane prototype parts to test product functions or marketing stuff, Vacuum Casting at Boyi Prototypes might be exactly what you are looking for. The Boyi Prototypes Vacuum Casting technology was dedicated to produce small series of plastic components in the highest possible quality.

YOUR NEEDS

Vacuum casting meets different needs:

prototypes for mechanical, thermal or aesthetic validation
pre-production to for the market
Functional testing
pre-testing to your products
rigid or flexible, transparent or coloured.
overmolding of specific inserts in any material

Assembly line trials

What is Vacuum Casting?

Vacuum Casting is a low-cost but reliable way for making a low volume of high quality prototypes based on a master model. This highly versitile method uses cast silicone molds. It is undoubtedly the most economical production process for small series: prototype parts, pre-series.

Prototyping procedure:
A master model is created using by sterelithography process;
The master model is then placed into casting gate which is filled with silicone
Cut into two parts
Resin is poured into the silicone mold
